The computer could not be activated with a Volume license Product Key 0xC004F035
Many a time OEMs sell Windows with the promise of getting a free upgrade with the next version. This was more prominent when Windows 8 was getting rolled out, and a lot of OEM like Dell, Lenovo, etc, sold computers with the promise of a free upgrade. When such computers are sold, they have a Windows marker in the BIOS. This marker on OEM systems indicates computers shipping with qualifying editions of Windows – which is a requirement for KMS client activation. It’s almost like an Enterprise computer situation where OEM is the Enterprise and is responsible to roll out the free upgrade to the client machine. If this marker is missing, and somebody is trying to activate the computer for free upgrade using a KMS key, it will fail. You must have a qualifying operating system license AND a Volume license Windows upgrade license, or a full license for Windows from a retail source.
Fix Activation Error Code 0xC004F035
The only way out is to change your product key to a valid Multiple Activation Key (MAK) or Retail key. You can either buy it from the Windows Store or get in touch with the OEM from where you bought the PC. They will give you a valid MAK key which you can use to activate your computer. Any other installation of this is in violation of your Agreement and Applicable Copyright Law. Make sure to use the correct version of Windows and Key. If you bought a Windows Home then you will need the key accordingly.
